Good Morning Seco Families,
We are thrilled to see our Seco students this week for Summer Check-In. Below is some important information for the Summer Check-in days so please be sure to read through this before arriving at the school site.
8th graders Check-In, Tuesday, August 3rd.
7th graders Check-In the day after on Wednesday, August 4th.
Below you will see the Time Break-downs based on Last Name of the student.
Check List for Summer Check-In Days:
Ø Be sure you completed the electronic Google Form for Nighttime Residency and Voluntary Activities. Any families that had not completed this yet were sent an email communication Sunday, August 1st at approximately 2 p.m. Additionally, families who have not completed the OLR process through Infinite Campus or turned in all immunization records have received multiple communications throughout the summer. Not having these items taken care of prior to arrival, will delay you in the check-in process.
Ø There is a new mask acknowledgement that is required by the LACDPH (LA County Dept. of Public Health) for public schools. It is attached to this email for your review. All students coming to campus must have this document signed to begin in-person school on Tuesday, August 10th. We will have copies available at the door tomorrow as you enter, but please feel free to print it and sign it in advance. This is especially important if you are not able to come with your child to check-in. Both a parent and the student are required to sign the acknowledgement. Please note that because we are a public school, MASKS must be worn by all individuals entering buildings at our Summer Check-In process. This is a policy we are required to enforce.
Ø Bring a backpack or book bag to carry your textbooks back to your car or residence. Students will be issued a set of textbooks that are kept at home. Textbooks are also provided in the classroom so that students don’t have to carry books back and forth to school each day.
Ø Our WEBSTORE is now live.
Please CLICK HERE
to pay for PE Clothes, a Yearbook, and to purchase a 25 Scorecard. The proceeds from the 25 Scorecard go to ASB to supplement costs of various student activities and programs. NOTE: For best results use the Firefox or Google Chrome web browsers. We apologize for the inconvenience, but Safari and iPhones do not work well with the WEBSTORE
and we do not have control of this. You can also go to https://www.arroyosecojuniorhigh.org/
scroll to the Quick Links and click on ASB Webstore. To avoid longer lines it is best to purchase through the webstore, however those needing to pay by cash or credit card in person will be able to do so at the ASB Window.
Ø Pictures – students will take their photo ID and Yearbook/School picture at summer check-in, so please dress accordingly. Please be aware that students are required to have their ID card scanned every day as they enter campus. Parents will have to complete a daily health screening through CrisisGo each morning beginning on the first day of school, August 10th and the ID card is what we scan to see that the health screening has been completed and the student is cleared to be on-campus. A dialer with a CrisisGo tutorial will be sent out later this week as we get closer to the first day of school.
Ø Please be sure to look at the attachments for the Mask form, the Check-in Map and Alpha Breakdown.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation in following the alpha breakdown to ensure an efficient process for all. We look forward to seeing our 21-22 Conquistadors at Summer Check-in! Should you have questions, please call our office between 8am-3pm.
