Hart District Looking for Measure SA Oversight Committee Members

The William S. Hart Union High School District needs two new members of the Measure SA Citizens’ Oversight Committee. These members will serve a two-year term with a maximum of three consecutive terms.
The first member the committee is looking for is someone who would fit in the Business Organization category. In other words, this member needs to be active in the business community within the Hart School District. New Campus Portal Parent App

Check out the Infinite Campus Portal apps! Pictured (to the left) is the new Parent version. There is also a specific Student version. If you update the old app, you will be directed to get the new app and can choose the Parent or Student version (you may need to refresh). These new versions allow access to additional reports, including unofficial transcripts, and a user-friendly class schedule, which will be particularly helpful when the second quarter starts on October 22.

Student Heart Health Screening

Hart District Parents and Students: VHS is excited to announce the Valencia High School Medical Science Academy has partnered with the Saving Hearts Foundation to host a FREE heart screening event for all youth aged 12-24 on Saturday, October 27th from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Valencia High School gymnasium. You Might Qualify for Free and Reduced School Meals

Dear Parents/Guardians:

The William S. Hart Union High School District (WSHUHSD) urges you to consider completing the application for the National School Lunch Program and/or School Breakfast Program. In addition to the nutritional advantages of healthy meals, eligible students will be entitled to reduced fees for Advanced Placement tests and other associated benefits.

To apply, complete one application for all children in the household and submit it to your child’s school or the WSHUHSD, ATTN: Carolyn McMahon, 21380 Centre Pointe Parkway, Santa Clarita, CA. 91350 for processing. Additional copies are available at your child’s school office, at the WSHUHSD office, or you may download a copy online at www.hartdistrict.org (located under the "Students" dropdown menu, Breakfast/Lunch Program prompt). Households may submit an application at any time during the school year. Information provided on the application will be used for the purpose of determining eligibility and may be verified at any time during the school year by school officials.
