Parent Volunteer Opportunities

Now that the school year is underway, we are looking for parent volunteers to help us in the library and/or student store, as well as for events (as we are able) such as chaperoning dances, textbook collection, and Vision or Hearing Screening. Volunteers will need to complete a brief clearance process through the district and the school site.

Dear Hart District families:

We are aware of the shooting that took place yesterday, May 24th, at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas. We are saddened by this horrific event and continue to keep the victims, their families, and all school staff in our thoughts and hearts. In lieu of this incident, the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station is working hand in hand with all Santa Clarita Valley school districts to ensure added safety throughout the remainder of the school year. SCV deputies will conduct additional patrol checks and maintain an added law enforcement presence for both public and private schools within the Santa Clarita Valley. We also encourage our community to report any suspicious activity to the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station at 661-260-4000 and to school administrators. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by visiting www.LACrimeStoppers.org.

You can also access the Hart District Student Care Line for your school. We suggest having this line on your phone as well as your student's phone for easy access. Click READ FULL STORY to go to the Hart District webpage that has all of our schools’ Student Care Lines.
