Break Room Donations

Please consider donating an item from our wish list to the Break Room in order to create an outdoor space with activities that students can participate in safely, while socially distancing, as restrictions eases.

Eyes and Ears Volunteers Needed

Arroyo Seco could use parent help in the mornings as we greet students on campus. If you are able to be a part of our Seco Eyes and Ears program, please click for more information. We are happy to welcome all volunteers, but we are definitely in need of help from parents of students in Cohort A.

Honor Society

Congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade students accepted into Spring 2021 Honor Society! Don't forget - 8th graders will be picking up their medals on March 9th from 5 - 6:10 pm. 7th graders will pick up their medals on March 10th from 5 - 6:10 pm. This will be a drive through medal delivery at Arroyo Seco. Pick-up schedule by last name.  Click the headline to see the pick up schedule and a list of students accepted into Honor Society!

New Student Care Line

In an effort to emotionally support our students, Seco's Student Care Line is available to offer support for mental health and wellness concerns. If you are struggling or know someone who is struggling, the Student Care Line will make early intervention possible, allowing for small problems to be handled before they become big problems. The number for the Student Care Line is 765-831-2754. In the event of a true emergency, after school hours, please contact the Sheriff’s Department or call 911.

Parent Mindfulness Sessions

Students are heading back to school, and work schedules and routines all look different. Transitions can be tough, but we can make this transition to Hybrid a mindful one. We would like to provide an intoduction to incorporating mindfulness into yoru daily routine to increase your self-care. Please see the attached flyer for more information!

Virtual Walk for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention presents #OutoftheDarkness - A Virtual Walk and Day of Action to Raise Awareness for Mental Health & Suicide Prevention in the SCV. Join us on May 1. See the attached flyer for additional information.

Friday, 4/30 - Classes Resume On Campus for B Cohort Students

UPDATED, Thursday, 4/29 2:00 pm: Arroyo Seco will be open for in person learning for our Cohort B students tomorrow, Friday April 30. Our offices will also be open. We apologize for any inconvenience with today’s closure and appreciate your flexibility and understanding. We hope that your families are safe and well. Thursday, April 29th: All classes will be online today due to air quality concerns caused by the North Fire. The campus and offices will be closed. It is possible that there may be connectivity issues related to the fire. If your student (or the teacher) is unable to log in to Zoom or Meet, have them go into Google Classroom and complete the posted assignments when they are able. We will provide you updates today as we are able. Stay safe and well.

Canned Food Drive, 4/26 - 4/30

Please bring cans and non-perishable goods to Arroyo Seco this week, from April 26th to 30th. All donations will be delivered to the Santa Clarita Food Pantry. Thank you for your donations!

Open now through April 25th, purchase books to be delivered directly to you, or gift books to a teacher or Seco's library!
