Hart District Looking for Measure SA Oversight Committee Members

The William S. Hart Union High School District needs two new members of the Measure SA Citizens’ Oversight Committee. These members will serve a two-year term with a maximum of three consecutive terms.
The first member the committee is looking for is someone who would fit in the Business Organization category. In other words, this member needs to be active in the business community within the Hart School District. Student Heart Health Screening

Hart District Parents and Students: VHS is excited to announce the Valencia High School Medical Science Academy has partnered with the Saving Hearts Foundation to host a FREE heart screening event for all youth aged 12-24 on Saturday, October 27th from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Valencia High School gymnasium. 5th Annual SCV Business Group 8th Grade Speech Competition

8th Grade Students are encouraged to participate in this year's speech competition. The topic is "How do I protect my reputation and character when using social media?" Speeches will be a maximum of 3 minutes in length. The first place winner of the district competition will receive $300. Students can get more information from their English Teachers. Typed copies of the speeches are due to English teachers by Wednesday, October 10!

PASE presents Every Life Matters

Parent and Student Empowerment (PASE) presents: "Every Life Matters." Preventing Suicide in Teens & Children. Featuring: Dr. Susan Igdaloff and Dawnel DeRubeis.
